Aegis

Aegis is a wide, heavy, large-scale type family designed to radiate strength and intention. Built across four optical sizes—Standard, Display, Poster, and Super—its forms tighten and its apertures narrow as the size increases, making Aegis exceptionally well-tuned for high-impact, oversized typography. With five weights and Upright, Slant, and Backslant styles, Aegis is a fully flexible system.

A rich set of features enhances its expressive power: stylistic alternates; small caps; Biforms; dual ‘g’ variants; and specialized cent numerals. Full Latin support, including Vietnamese, ensures broad usability.

Aegis also carries a deeper purpose. Created while the designer’s father battles dementia and Alzheimer’s, the typeface reflects the emotional weight shouldered by families facing these diseases. As part of that commitment, 50% of all profits are donated to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
